    Big Red Cab Comfort

Currently trying to decide between a Polaris Ranger and a Honda Big Red. The Ranger cab during the summer is very hot, specifically in the area around the gas pedal. Does the Big Red have similar heat issues?

I live in South Louisiana where summer heat is opppresive....the engine is under the seat cabin and heat does rise, so there you have it....doesn't bother me that much, but you do notice it if you're sitting still.

Heat generaly goes up and around the bed because of engine location. Heat is not an issue we have had.

Heat is not really an issue around the peddles but if you run through a puddle you will get some steam up around the hand brake. But the 2011 has the bench seat so that maybe different now. I also find when I ride in the winter that seat is slightly warm which is not a bad thing.

    Re: Big Red Cab Comfort

I have an 09 BR and honestly never thought about heat until this thread. I live in central FL and it gets really hot during the summer. now that you mention it, the only time ive noticed was last December when we drove it in a local parade. Granted it was only in the low 50's but the person sitting in the middle (on the parking brake) mentioned their rear getting warm after an hour or so. Notice they only mentioned it and did not complain so apparently it wasnt that hot.
