    Problem shifting into drive

Got in my 09 BR this morning to head out to the Duck blind and backed out of my shop, when I put it in drive and gave it gas the engine revved but I didn't move, I noticed the "D" was not lit on the dash so I put it in neutral and tried again to put into drive, well this time the "D" lit and I took off, but on my way down the trail it would jump into neutral for a second and the engine would rev then jump back into drive without me doing anything. After the hunt I had to try twice to put it into drive to head on back home. If anyone has had a problem like this and has an answer on how to correct it I sure would appreciate the help before I start tearing into it this weekend. I'm thinking it maybe a linkage adjustment but not sure, Thanks for any help and Ride Red.

    Re: Problem shifting into drive

I was thinking cable adjustment also, but before I started adjusting I cleaned the shift lever on the rear of the engine and lubed it up, also did the same on the back side of the dash and inside the cable itself. I tried this first because according to the manual it looked like it was still set correctly, since doing this I have not had any more problems, thanks for the reply and Ride Red!
