    Honda Pioneer 1000 Driveline

They really thought this through, this would come in handy when cruising around the property. Would not have to worry about tearing up the grass in turf mode and with the one lever you could switch back and fourth easily. This is just what i need!!!!!
    Turf/2WD/4WD/Diff Lock

Total flexibility here, with one lever. Turf mode is perfect for sensitive surfaces (like grass fields) and provides easier steering. Rougher conditions demand four-wheel drive to maximize available traction. And when the trail becomes even more demanding front and rear differential locks drives direct power to all four wheels.

Agreed! I have about 5 acres of grass and I definitely need turf mode, but I want it also to have 4wd and locking diffs when I take it out hunting or off-roading.

The only thing that worries me is reverse. It has hi/lo for forward but reverse is all on its own on the shifter. I've been in some sticky situations with a different manufacturers machine where even in low range, reverse was too tall.

Yeah lets hope that put a beefy low gear in it for reverse.

Exactly. They better not have the weak reverse like the new Teryx 4 has. If it's right, this transmission will change the ball game. I don't think Honda will fall short on this one. they are stepping up boys!

I hope you're right, because that would put a huge bulls eye on one for me. I already have everything that the 1000 offers, minus 500cc's and the DCT. Mine currently uses a belt and it does amazing things. I can't imagine what hondas version will be like. I can't wait.
