Re: The official "I got my Honda Pioneer" Thread!

I just picked up a 700-4 on Saturday, I love it. I currently have a Kymco and the Pioneer beats it in all areas and I loved the Kymco. I want to move the winch from my Kymco before I sell it, does anyone sell a mount kit besides Honda? I'm also looking for a 1/2 windshield and Honda is out till mid October, are there any after market suppliers I could check out? Thanks

4Nines, looks pretty much like the stock pics now, all I added was 1/2 hard top. I will mud it up good and post a pic. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, we have 1000,s of miles of trails and LOTS of mud.

Re: The official "I got my Honda Pioneer" Thread!

Put about 25 miles on it today. I like the way the transmission shifts, it is much smoother than the Big Red. It takes the rough roads really nice. I might have the time sunday to take it into the mountains on some steep roads and trails. I'll have some pictures by then. So far I am glad I made the purchace. We went ahead and got the 3 year extended warranty so we are covered for a total of four years. I built a windshield for it tonight. Crappy weather is just around the corner and a windshield really helps.

Wow that's a really nice warranty! Mind if I ask you how much it was to extend it that long?

I paid $510 for the 3 year warranty extension. They said it was 3 years for the price of 2.

Sorry to hear that! Do you see any sort of error code on the gauge cluster?

the only error code is the little light is on - the check engine thing. not sure why. is there some type of transmission fluid to check? or just the oil ( it is okay ) could the light be on because of smog type control?

Re: The official "I got my Honda Pioneer" Thread!

theres no emissions equipment on these as they are offroad use vehicles only. theres a service port that your local atv repair shop should be able to plug into to pull the code. normally the service light will give a blink code, if its staying on.... i'm stumped.
