    snorkel, air intake, snorkle...

Well I put together and installed my PVC intake.
I decided I don't plan or seek out high water crossings, so I only went 36 inches tall on my tubing.
It ends/tops out at the backside of the passenger seat.
My tires sit at 25.5 in and I did not want (or need) a smokestack or other tall pipe that would allow me to traverse 5ft of water.
jmiraval, YOU sir are an awesome, crazy animal...more power to ya!

    I used all 2 inch fittings/pipe:
45 degree "street side" at the airbox
    8 inches of pipe
(I did cut a metal support bracket that was used by the original intake...see the 2nd to the last pic)
    90 degree angle
    6 inches of pipe
cut a 2.5in hole in the plastic seat panel
rubber 90 with hose clamps included
45 degree "street side" (behind the seat)
Note: Street side fittings are smooth and fit inside a rubber hose or inside a fitting that has a flange.
PVC to PVC fittings/pipe were sealed with PVC primer and glue.

By using the rubber 90 behind the passenger seat, I can add a taller tube or extend what I have and make a smokestack at a later date.
I also did not bother to paint any of it, since it is mostly hidden from sight.

Do you have bucket seats or the bench? Will this design work for both?

You just wait scooter for this years rainy season! I'm going to get this heav pig to water wheelie or I'm selling it... ha! Now that might include mounting a beer keg t to the front and drilling holes in the bed... but I'm out to prove a point.

a4x4dude, I have the bench seat. I think the bucket seats give more room to route the pipe. I have seen some BR users run it up the middle and stop at the head rests.

Get er on video. Get 3 hot chicks instead though...if you need 4, that wouldn't be so bad either.
