What are people using for an offset?

I'm going to switch to a 26x12-12 tire on the rear and either the same on the front or maybe a 26x10-12 to make steering a little easier. I haven't lifted my 09 at all so I'm thinking the 10" wide front tires would have less of a chance of rubbing.

So I'm looking into what wheels to go with. I've noticed that some brands, like ITP have a 5+2 offset while other brands have a 4+3 offset. I would think the 4+3 wheels would make it wider, not really needed, and could make the front tires rub. Has anyone bought a set? Should I just stick to the ITP? ITP seam like the common choice. I do like the replacement warranty.

I have the ITP's and have been happy with them. Originally I went with 26x9-12 in the front but changed them out for 26x12-12. I found little difference in the steering. I do have a 2" lift so I cannot tell you if I would have rubbing issues without the lift.

Re: What are people using for an offset?

I decided to go with the ITP SS 212 machined wheels with a 5" backspace. I use the BR for hauling firewood so I really don't want the bed any higher so no lift and no large tires.

I did want to step up to 26" tires to get the 1 1/4" lugs. I ended up getting the GBC Dirt Devil XT's. I have a set on the rear of my old Honda 250SX that wear like iron on the rocks and ledge around here. So along with the wheels I have a pair of 10" wide tires for the front and 12" wide for the rear coming. I can try the 12" tires on the front and if I don't like the looks of the 10" wide tires I'll swap them out.

In a couple of weeks I should have everything ready to go, just need to wait for the snow to melt.
