Hey Rexx, I got stuck in the mud twice with my Big Horns. I now have Kenda Executioner's in 26 x 12 x 12 on all four corners.
Steering effort is a bit higher, but I have not come close to getting stuck in mud (not that I try or play in the mud). I have no issue with the Big Red getting up steep inclines on these bigger tires. My stock Big Horn 2.0's are sitting in the garage and if I had a trip out West or in dry climate, I would likely switch back to the Big Horns.
