I need some new gloves, and considered participating in the group buy. Does anyone know what this means: ?? "patented 3rd and 4th finger bridge protects against “finger roll” and potential seam bursting during impacts • "

I normally ride with my pinky finger on the grip as well as the index??finger (the one closest to the thumb) and the two in the middle on the brake lever. Does the "patented finger bridge" mean that the pinky finger and the one next to it can't be separated?? :idunno:

I appreciate all help!

:)

Hmmmm...I have these gloves and although I'm not sure what the 'bridge' crap they are referring to is, the gloves are awesome. I crashed....errr...made friends with pavement late last season and they held up fantastic! There is no restrictive webbing - all of the fingers are seperate. I highly recommend them.

Plus or Pro? I have the AS GP Plus...are you referring to the Pros?
Thanks guys :thumb:

The Alpinestars web site says that both the Pro and the Plus have the magic "finger bridge"...

Guess that means I'll have to change my grip  if I buy the gloves..

:)

Can anyone recommend sizing? I need to check my Teknic's @ home for comparison.
I wear large. My hand measures 7 2/5" from the start of my hand/wrist to the tip of my middle finger and 3 3/4" across (measure above the thumb and below the fingers).

Interestingly, the tech spec on those gloves shows what appears to be some sort of web/band that 'bridges' the fingers together. However, I have those gloves and they aren't mapped together?? :idunno: Wonder if that's something new for this year? The photos would indicate otherwise as well.

I wear a large in RS Taichi, Kushitani and Cycle Racer, an extra large in Technics (although they are a bit loose, while I can't even get the large to make it over my knuckles) and ordered an extra large with the Alpine Stars only to find them too tight. They sent me XX Large and they fit perfectly, so go figure . . .
