After the last ride I took I decided that maybe it was time to get a pair of pants. I mean shit I always wear a jacket, helmet and gloves but always wear jeans. What I want for now is a pair of pants that I can wear over something for when I go to work but would also like a pair for riding that would be better then jeans (no leathers for now).

I was looking at Alpinestars Air-Flo to wear over another pair of pants.

As for a pair of textile riding pants I am looking for something along these lines.Icon Timax Has to have a combination of armour and padding in my opinion anyway :idunno:

Anyone have any experience with these pants or anything similiar.

Well I decided to go with the Alpinestar Airflos for now. I got to do some riding with them today and I have to say they are pretty comfortable to wear. I dont think I would wear them over a pair of pants b/c it can be a bit bulky but I wore them as a normal pair of pants and actually liked them. Not a pair of leathers by anymeans but for a nice pair of pants to ride to work in on those hot days or just tooling around town I think they will do just fine.

The materials are a combination of mesh and textile for a cool yet pretty comfortable fit. The only thing I will say is that if you plan on gettting off and doing some walking they seems to get a bit in the way since there is padding in the knee that is setup to be in place in the riding position that seems to shift when in the upright position. Other then that I think they are a pretty well made pair of warm weather pants :thumb:

Once I do some more riding in them I will let everyone know how they work in the long run. Hopefully soon I can pick up my alpinestar stunt jacket and track pants (hope my interview goes well tomorrow :smilebig: ... 8 months of being home is more then I can take)
