·Anyone know where I can buy a genuine Arai Iridium visor for a Quantum F (Super Adsis 'L') online?
TIA
TIA
This use to be true, but not anymore according to the representative from the distribution company Western Power Sports (a company similar to PartsUnlimited). According to this rep Arai themselves have started making mirrored and iridium visors for certain Arai helmets. I told him that they were crap b/c a buddy of mine had one and it fell apart . He informed me that Arai themselves are making the shields, not a third party company and they are of good quality. I guess we will only find out in time if they are any good. But for now, the $73 price tag is going to keep me from buying one.ND4SPDSHO : No such thing. Arai only makes 3 visors for their helmets. Transparent yellow, dark tinted, and clear. The rest are all from other manufacturers and they get scratched very easily
What about light smoke?ND4SPDSHO : No such thing. Arai only makes 3 visors for their helmets. Transparent yellow, dark tinted, and clear. The rest are all from other manufacturers and they get scratched very easily
I agree with pdccd, the rainbow shield would go real nice with the Walker helmet.pdccd : OOhhhh, rainbow.OOOwwwwww $76.
Thanks for the infogoogolplexu : Arai has reintroduced the Iridium visor back into the market. They corrected the problems associated with the version they previously offered. You can order one from 'The Helmet Shop' in Daytona Beach, FL. I was there for the Daytona 200 and they had one on a display helmet. Unfortunately, they have not updated their website so you can purchase via that method.
I'll just keep polishing my clear visor.ND4SPDSHO : Wow, talk about a foot in the mouth.
They look cool, but $70-$80 for a visor is a lot of green, I don't care how good it looks. The $50 I paid for the regular ones was a bit much
