I spoke with the rep for my dealer and when I asked about the 450X he said, "I can not confirm or deny that one will come out in 05, but Honda would be stupid if they didn't produce one soon!"

I'm gonna pick up a used 02-04 soon and with the money I save by doing that I'll just buy the light kit and such.

What no KTM supermoto anymore? The 450 and 526 SX's look like a great setup.

ON THE TARMAC OR IN THE DIRT…
With KTM’s SMC off-road wheel kit you get the best of both worlds. This off-road wheel kit achieves the exact specifications of KTM’s powerful 450 SX and 525 SX motocross models and allows the 450 SMC and 525 SMC to be easily converted for dedicated off-road riding. Better yet, these complete wheel kits are delivered, at NO charge, directly to new ’04 450 and 525 SMC owners.

KTM SX specs

I have a Baja Designs Quick release kit for my CRF450 and I even was able to make it street legal. $500.00 bones is kinda spendy but it is great to be able to leave your house for those dualsport rides even if you get lots of strange looks from everyone at the stoplights.

The KTM's are ok bikes but the Honda is just a better all around bike. If I need to order parts for it I don't have to wait a month for them to arrive. The only KTM dealer in town has a bunch of tards working at it and they are not into cutting deals on any of their stuff.

It is not as bad as it used to be. My dealer used to suck, and I often waited on parts. KTM has done alot in the last two years to upgrade their parts availability - and my dealer has gotten much better, also. Still not as good as Honda, but getting better all the time.

The bike comes with all top notch stuff (chain, bars, brake lines, etc.) and is very well put together. I am very happy with mine - and I can smoke CRF450's all day long to the first turn.
