Safety gear has always been important to me. I grew up with 2, 3 and 4 wheeled vehicles. On two and three wheel vehicles I wear a helmet, armored jacket, Kevlar jeans, gloves and boots. When my children grew up they were always properly geared up, or they didn't ride. On 4 wheels I'll relax the gear slightly by now wearing Kevlar jeans, but the rest is the same. Accidents can and do happen, over the years the gear has definitely saved me a time or two. How about you, do you gear up, if so, how much, if not, why not? I even have special gear for all occasions.
