Nice helmet bwhip. A friend of mine bought one of those and crashed in it not 7 days later - someone on a BLackbird ran into him. He wa svery upset about the helmet (not so much about the brand new VFR800) as he had bought the last one form the importer... It now sits on he TV cabinet...

That's a great safety tip. I think white or brightly colored lids are by far the best for being seen in traffic. :thumb:

I wear an Arai Quantum Numata rep that I got on the cheap three years ago from a local dealership going out of business.

This bright enough for ya?

Though I'm prepping my new X11 to be painted in a way that will make this seem dim by comparison. I'll post when it's done.

As I've said before, people really drive differently when I wear this helmet. They act as if they see me, though I don't really believe that.

Mine's pretty bright. It's a shoei x-tec ukawa replica. Not sure what happened to the x-tec line, but I really like mine. :thumb:

:( Not so bright, but at least this one doesn't have a gouge out of it like my last one from kissing the pavement at 45+ mph.

Yeah my new lid is colorful to say the least. Even brighter when you see that my bike is Sil/Blk and I wear a black jacket. All you really see is a bright yellow blob ontop of my bike.

Improve your riding safety with a brightly colored helmet:

Mine's pretty bright - thankfully!
Not too long after I bought the 954 I considered getting a custom paint job. I would have gone for a more lively color scheme, but the "mean business" silver and black started to grow on me. I wanted a yellow helmet for visibility and personal taste. Read good reviews of the OGK. Fit was tight but right. No hot spots. Finish is top notch. My only complaint is the amount of air that is pulled up into the helmet from the bottom while riding. This may be a product of the Zero Grav double bubble screen I installed. Taller than OEM, it directs air flow right at my upper shoulders and neck. Will most likely go back to the OEM screen. In the meantime I now wear a "neck rag" that helps. :)
