by way of review I should say its very comfortable and very quiet. with some nice venting.
DOT and SNELL approved.
And it looks cool "that is of course subjective" I managed to get it for $190.
I've seen them going for $229 but this shop had had it for 6 months and I guess needed to move it.

They have only been around a couple years I think got me some gloves too.
The helmet design was a deal with Dark horse Comics

Be careful posting that you bought Icon gear....someone on here will label you a squid stunter. ;)

Dano
:wstupid: Yes I agree, I made that mistake and all I did was ask how the quality was, I didnt end up buying their jacket felt much safer and more comfy in my beloved Alpinestars gear.

Oh my, the pity party begins.

Icon gear and stunting have nothing to do with each other.

Nor was a certain someone here referred to as a stunter because of what he wore. It was due to his foolish actions that he so proudly talked about. So give us all a break.

And Chodan, don't sweat the age, I think the helmet is actully pretty cool. Hell, I'd gladly wear it.

Mo....that was not directed towards you at all sir. I fully understand that said actions brought on the response towards the member.

On the other hand if you were to be using Speedrag gear...well that's a whole other story.

Forgive me, Dano. I'm just in a surly mood this morning.

"Hey man....it's Friday". :highclap: That's what I say to myself when I get a bit frustrated at work on Fridays, always cheers me up.

I suppose someone could be a squid at any age but I can't see how choice of riding gear would constitute one.
Um
Unless your riding gear is flip flops and tank tops,

But I'm think squidlyness is more in how you ride than what you wear when riding.
Also if SNELL thinks its alright who am I to argue.

I probably wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't got to try it on but the graphics are what caught my eye.
Those TiMax gloves are nice too now that they are broke in good, much more prefferable than having my knukles and palms ground away on the asphalt.

Absolutely, Chodan.

The above exchanges are part of a bigger story. Don't take any of it personally.

You got some cool gear that you like. Nothing wrong with that.

Ride safe brother, and enjoy.

Hey, I'm an older fart than you, and I even like it. :) Lake Cumberland area, huh? I'm thinking about taking a camping weekend sometime this summer down there and bringing the bike too. Maybe you could suggest a good campsite and some nice roads? :thumb:

hmm
highway 92 to cumberland falls is a good road with lits of twisties, hm there are quite a few good roads here. That time of year is a bit more hazardous due to the traffic. As for camping I don't know since I live here I don't use it, I think Conley Bottom Resort has some good spots though, just book early.
