That's great. Is it all public land? Great to have it so close.
I hope so. It's adjacent to some private properties along the way though, some with No Trespassing signs up at the edge of the treeline. So, I just stay away from those areas. I ran across some city/county workers out there, and they just waved me on. :idunno:

were they wearing orange jumpsuits with black lettering on the back that said "COUNTY" per chance? ;)

thats way cool, but you know the flip side is that if you're gonna get involved in this stuff you gotta find a local club and join up. Up in these parts everything is closing or closed already due to lack of activity, and crazy treehuggers. Few spots that are open are from May-Nov only and many have club trusted lands only. But all that said, I send out a few checks each year but I could stand to follow some of my own advice, so Ill shut up :crap:

Yep, we are members of a club. They have 200 acres about 45mins from our house. But, it's easier to hit these trails for a quick ride, until I'm told to stop I guess.

Careful with that, I've had a couple of big rifles and shotguns pointed at me in situations like that over the years...

Well, this is "public" property, so I figured at the most, I'd get a ticket/arrested. I stay out of any of the areas that are private property with no trespassing signs/etc.

Nope. No ticket necessary. Use the twisty thing on the right. Just watch out for cantankerous dudes with guns...
