They're not DOT approved as they're only sold overseas.

i spoke to the OGK rep at the NYC motorcycle show,and he said that the new helmets thats gonna be comin here in another month or two are goin to be SNELL and DOT approved now!!! :thumb: but they are gonna cost like around $450. nice looking helmets,but when i tried one on,it just felt weird,i like the way the Arai fits better.

Bought a OGK Jame Witham replica last year. Been using it ever since with no problems whatsoever.

Compared to my old Arai Haga Rep it is marginaly heavier and it lets abit more noise to pass through.

However, and this probably applies to all lids, the most important thing is how it fits your head. The OGK fits me way better than the Arai, but our skulls differ (lol) ... so you should first try wearing both first before buying.

Got one on the way. Might be here tomorrow. FF-3GP. Supposed to be very light. Phone clerk promised I'd be amazed. Reviews seemed to imply it would fit my braincase. If I don't like it I'll send it back. No big deal. I'm a sucker for stuff that is different. Sometimes I get burned but what the hell? I'll post an opinion soon as I get it.

I've been looking around the net for the best price on one. So far the two best I have found were Helmet Harbor and US Superbikes. You'll find a good unbiased write up on them at webbikeworld. :thumb:

Also, it seems as though there is an extra wait time as they are shipped from the UK.

I'm calling Randy on Monday. The only thing disappointing is the graphics (non-replica) for the FF4. I like the FF3 much better so hopefully I still can get that. :idunno:

I had an Aeroblade and wasnt real impressed. Went back to Arai and lived happily ever after.
