I think they are pretty neat. I dont think the crash worthiness is going to be anything spectacular. Id still prefer to go with one of the Roof helmets for originality though !

Here's some information breaking down the construction of the lids and my requirements.

A donor helmet is used for the strap and internals, it can either be an old or damaged helmet of any type or if required we can supply a new helmet to your specifications, prices start at £60

The donor helmet is stripped and the linings removed leaving just the polystyrene shell. This is then trimmed into shape so it fits comfortably into the new shell. The straps are drilled out and then bolted in place in their new home

Yeah, nothing like trimmed EPS to keep your noggin intact in a crash.

a big :thumbd: that thing is hideous, I would never ride with that, I like to be able to see and I wouldn't trust the crash worthyness of a helmet thats been stripped and trimmed, they make them the way they do so they work the way they do, you take off some of the shell its not gonna absord as much impact. and besides if its gonna be called the predator where are the dreadlocks and if I flip it up will there be this weird mouth that opens in every direction scaring the living crap out of the little girl in the car next to you at the light?

I'll stick with my Suomy, thanks
