Thanks for your review. So you're sold on the leather type (A&G) versus the plastic? I'm in the market for a different pair, notice different not new :smilebig: , the ones I currently have are so thin I have to be literally hanging off to scrape. I would like something just a little thicker.Ernie said:Yeah interesting. Funny thing is I just did a track day on ARIs (which Ulrich gave a good listing for wear) and will never use them again. I basically went through a puck in one day. I have a set of A&G (asphalt and gas) leather pucks that are several years old and still working.

Ernie said:I use plastic or leather. The best plastics I have found are Helimot on the Helimot web site..They last. I like leather because they feel better on the track.
Plus I know the owner of A&G and he is a great guy. (He just had an accident at Sears Point. He was standing in the pits drinking a fruit drink and a punk girl on a pit bike ran into him. banged his head and spilled his drink!)

No problem, just happened upon it. I think Abtech uses those A&G leather pucks as well, if I remember one of his threads correctly.tigerblade said:Thanks for the link SuperDave. I haven't tried leather pucks and kind of hesitate to; not sure I'd like a "grabby" feel?
May have to try some. :thumb:Ernie said:I don't consider leather grabby. It feel like silk on good asphalt.
