·So let's talk pants, leather or mesh? Comfort? Style? Who wears what? Today a buddy of mine came over with a pair of jeans and he had his wife sew in armor and a zipper for his jacket? Did this do him any good? or is it more ancedotal?
YepperChain : Mike, you keep beating me to the punch on these posts.
Hey, serious question, is that Road Crafter worth the moolah?
Are we talking bedroom?Chain : OH GOD, not the mesh v. leather debacle again.
Yes, absolutely! It is the most well-made textile suit in the market. Very functional, fits over street clothes, easy on/off, waterproof, tons of pockets, and venting. They state it will hold up in a crash almost as well as leather. Many trackday organizations allow them. They also have knee, elbow, hip and shoulder protection, and an optional back protector.Chain : Hey, serious question, is that Road Crafter worth the moolah?
Very few and all of those are normally from either someone being very cheap and buying something that the seams blow out or a crash over 100mph and they wear through. But they still usually have very little rash even when that happens. Then there was the guy with the two peice that didn't zip them together and it road up and rashed his stomach.jafo : How many people do you know with road rash from leathers?
