I was really looking for one of these before they made US soil. Some review of them, (cant remember where) convinced me otherwise.

I guess it depends on who you talk to, Naj. I've got a good friend outside Cleveland who's had an opportunity to pour over the Shark line and reports that the build quality appears stellar. He's a long time Arai and Shoei fan and he's got pretty discerning taste, FWIW.

How's the academy treating you?

I had a Roof. If Arais and Shoeis are 5 star helmets, I'd say the Roof is 2 stars.

Like I said, depends on who you talk to. The last couple posts are enough to dissuade me from ROOF ownership.
