Hello I purchased a Big Red and am going to pick it up this weekend. I have an enclosed trailer 7X14. I noticed that the roof is just over 6 feet tall. Can the roof be removed so I can fit it in my trailer? Thanks
Since the roof is only adds a 1/4" or so to the height I am guessing you are talking about the roll cage. If so there are 8 metric bolts that can be removed that will allow you to remove the top half of it. Not sure how much you would gain but I can measure it for you tonight if you want.
You would gain 6.5" of clearance in the front and 9.5" in the rear by taking the top of the cage off. I would of measured the total height but I have a 2" lift and 26" tires and my springs have lost some height so I am not sure what the overall height would be on a stock machine.
