Went trailer shopping, and I'd like to do some comparisons, if you guys don't mind.

The place I went to had the following to offer, lemme know what you think.

7x12 tandem 3500lb axle's with electric brakes, ramp door, man door, roof vent, stone guard, roof light ~$3500

Is this a good price?

Good Timing. I've been looking the past week also. I was looking at H&H Trailers as they're built nearby. They're asking $4495 for a 7X12 tandem axle. A bit pricey.

I got my Pace American 7x14 with everything you listed for around $4k.

Having had a Haulmark before, I'd choose the Pace over it for quality.

There is a place that sells trailers right by C/A Honda. I forget the name. It is on the side street that runs parallel to 271 that is basically an off ramp to Alexander/Pettibone Rd. the place is on the right. I want to say it is JFI, or JFE or something like that.

Won't that trailer loaded be a bit much for your Ranger? :idunno:
I've asked around, there's people that tow stuff that size with no problems. It has a ~5500lb towing capacity, so I really don't see it being a problem. I'd be leary of towing anything bigger with it, but I really don't see a 7x12 as being a problem. I plan on doing some intake/exhaust tweaks to it, maybe a chip, and definitely a shift kit to give it a bit more beef.

HD, that place is JTI. I've talked to him in the past, he seemed kinda expensive. I'd prefer to deal with somebody out of the county to save that little bit on the taxes if I can. I won't be ready to buy for at LEAST 2-3 more months, so I'm just doing homework right now....

Get a tranny cooler, if you don't already have one.

That sounds like an excellent price. I originally looked at 7x12's before deciding to get a 6x12 and they were running around $4k. That may be a bit of a grunt for a Ranger to pull though...
I looked at a few 6x12's, but they're just not wide enough. The goal is to get 4 bikes into the trailer. I know that's a push, but 2 of them are 600rr's, and one's a Buell XB9. The 4th one's a Shadow, but that'll change to a rocket soon enough
