Hiya , was wondering if anyone knows of a decent brand of bike cover that will fit the bike while its tied down and being transported. Ive seen a few, and have never been able to catch the brand name. Im looking for a quality cover that wont scratch the plastic.

Thanks in advance

hmm, I would have to manually cut the slits for the tie downs. They say there fabric is designed to not run, rip, tear, abrade, or fray after making the small slits. :hmm:

Have you used one of these during transport ConqSoft?

and if so, how did your slits for the tie downs hold up?

Yeah, I used one for towing, but I didn't cut slits. I put my straps on the lower triple, coming up from the front of the bike, so I had no need to cut it.

But, I know people who have cut the slits and had no trouble.

I used a Geza cover for towing, prior to finally getting an enclosed trailer. I cut slits in it for the tie-downs. As a precaution, I sewed perpendicular to the slits at each end of the slits. I probably didn't need to. The cover's fine. I'm still using it to cover the bike when I go on overnight rides.
