·I'm looking at gettin a couple replacement shields for my Icon Helmet... do you guys know if the 'Fog-Free' lense really helps? Or is there an easier way to prevent fogging on the shield that came with the helmet?
:rotfl: the halo is from the oils off the wool, that is what makes it waterproof.NinerPilot said:I dont know if Icon has their own fog resistant lense, if so I have no ecperience with them. I have used Fog City inserts in the past with good results. I found that to use them best, buy a new shield to put them on and be careful of scratching the liner. I use an old wool sock to store my shields in when not in use. The the only downside that I have found is that there is a slight bit of haloing or double reflections at night, but the benefits well outweigh the cons with them.
