My AStars stunt jacket finally arrived today. Its alot nicer in person then in the pics. I got one ?? How the hell do you break one of these damn things in. Over time it will just loosen up I know but is there anything I can do to help it along.

Also is there any better pad/armor I can put in the back since that pad is thinner then the one in my phoenix jacket?

It's just gonna take some time when i got my lighting jacket i just walked around the house for a few days looking like a dick, one afternoon i fell a sleep in it on the couch ans sweat like a freaking pig in it and that loosed it up a lil.

let one of your chubby friends wear it for a while

I was wearing it before and it actually wasnt that bad warmth wise. Granted I was sitting under a fan :smilebig: but the front venting is gonna be pretty cool

And as for looking like a dick I am used to it since I always wear my gear around the house when its new. When I got my new leather gloves I wore them for like a week just sitting watching tv and all :idunno:

i heard somewhere that if you run in it in the dryer a few times (on a cold setting , Of course) it will loosen up. never tried it, let me know if you do.

I use to use shaving cream on my baseball gloves. It worked very well, not sure if you wanna use it on a jacket though. I also used it on my Alpinestars Gp gloves, it conditioned the leather just fine. If you do use shaving cream don't use that gel crap, only the old school whip cream looking stuff.

I wore it around the house pretty much all of last night (despite the jokes and abuse from the family who just doesn't get it) :smilebig:

I have it in the back seat of my car right now and have been pretty much just putting it here and there as I move around the house till I can get in some ride time with it.

Damn rain :thumbd:

Thanks bwhip I like it alot myself. Think its gonna be a great jacket once its broken in more :thumb:

That looks sharp. :eyebrows: Is the front of the jacket perforated?

When I got my 1pc I was wearing it around the house to break it in. A friend came over while I was wearing it and watching a SBK race and asked if I was doing some sort of virtual reality thing. :smilebig:

HAHA good stuff :thumb:

To answer your question yeah the whole front torso is perforated. There is also perforations on the fr and rear of the shoulders in the red circles :smilebig:

edit: I think my new gloves will go nicely as well

:door: you said the S word :smilebig:

Is there any better pad/armor I can put in the back since that pad is thinner then the one in my phoenix jacket? I would rather have one I can put in the jackey but if not then I wouldn't mind the Astars tech series protector.. if it is good

I have the A Stars Tech Series and hate that bulky thing, can't move with it on. I took the pad out of my Joe rocket Jacket and put it in my suit, lol. I'm gonna sell my Tech Series and find one that fits me better.

Look at the thread rrapriliawanter posted up on the chest protector, maybe you can get some ideas on what to use.

Go to a foam shop and ask for Evalite or bvalite foam scraps ;) .
