XR's are great for their intended purpose - but they are lethargically slow.
BTW, my dealer has a 2004 CRF450 in his showroom (maybe more in the back).

Really? I have owned a couple of big-bore two smokes - an 83 CR480 and a 97 KX500. Both were brutally fast but I sure wouldn't call them smooth. I rode my friends 04 YZ450 and it was a bit much for me. I have limited dirt ability and that thing hits like a freight train on crack. Too much for me thanks.
